Batch weighing calibration procedure
The procedure detailed below will enable the Hydro Probe, when connected to a Hydro View,
to be used with confidence and accuracy. Ultimately, the accuracy of the system will only be as
accurate as the method of sampling and drying. Therefore great care must be taken when gathering
and drying samples.
The Hydro View is provided with factory default values stored in memory. These default
values are for initial installation set-up and allow the system to be used ‘’straight from the box’’. To
accurately calibrate the system, two samples of aggregate are required with at least 2-3% moisture
(minimum of 1%) difference and the aggregate flowing in the dynamic state. On initial installation, it
can be difficult to obtain two different moisture
