The Steamatic 8800 TMU electrical system operates on 12 - 14 Volts DC which is provided 
by  the  battery.  battery  levels  are  maintained  by  a  40-Amp  alternator  mounted  on  the 
engine.

When a new battery is installed, check that it is properly charged before installation 
or damage to the charging system may occur.
