NOTICE
Incorrect phase sequence / direction of rotation of the electric
motor
The pump is damaged / The pump is not working.
u Note the direction of rotation marked on the fan shroud /
pump.
If it is necessary to modify the direction of rotation, then switch
the two phases in the terminal box of the electric motor.
5.8 Connecting the electrical clogging indicator
If the filter housing / filter unit has been fitted with an electrical
clogging indicator, connect it to your control center in accor-
dance with the switching logic.

5.9 Commissioning the filter unit
The filter unit is delivered without any fitted filter element.
ü Install the filter element/filter cartridge before starting up
the unit.
1. Switch the filter unit on and switch the filter unit pump
on.
2. Check the suction and pumping power of the pump.

If the pump pumps the operating medium, the installa-
tion has been completed successfully.
If the pump does not pump any medium after ≈ 2 min-
utes, switch the filter unit off and fill the pump by hand
via the suction line.

The commissioning is complete.
