AQUAMICRON

The filter elements of the AQUAMI-
CRON series are characterized by
their high dust holding capacity of
the glass fiber layers used and a
high water retention capacity. The
glass fiber structure and the pleated
design of the elements make a high
flow rate possible and, through that,
high dedusting speeds due to the
high circulation rate and a constant
level of purity over the process cy-
cle at high and low dust ingress
rates and also a low differential
pressure at start. The Aquamicron
filter elements bind the water in
through a chemical reaction. The
reaction is irreversible, that means
that the water is also retained in the
filter element at increasing pres-
sure.

DIMICRON

The element technology of the
DIMICRON series is characterized
by a high contamination retention
capacity of the glass fibre layers
used. The glass fibre structure and
pleated design make high flow rates
possible.

FKM

The term "Fluororubber" (abbrevia-
tion FKM according to DIN ISO
1629 [earlier: FPM] and FKM ac-

cording to ASTM D 1418) repre-
sents an entire group of rubbers,
which have, as a common charac-
teristic, viniledine difluoride as one
of its monomers.

HN 28-22

HYDAC standard 28-22 with dimen-
sions for the installation space for
clogging indicators.

ISO MTD

Test dust according to ISO MTD
(ISO MediumTest Dust) is defined
in ISO 12103-A3. The ISO MTD is
the basis for the SRM 2806 (Stan-
dard Reference Material) developed
by the NIST (National Institute of
Standards and Technology, USA).
The ISO MTD is used for the cali-
bration of automatic particle coun-
ters in the framework of the calibra-
tion standards ISO 11171:1999 and
ISO 11943:1999 as well as for the
determination of the dust holding
capacity of filter elements.
