Setting flow rate
The flow rate through the FMM must be set in the permissible measurement range
of the ContaminationSensor CS 1000. This is 30 ... 300 ml/min. The flow rate is set
via the throttle valve at the OUT outlet.
To set the flow rate, proceed as follows:
1.
Connect the CS to a voltage source.
2.
Set the measurement interval on the CS to 20 seconds.
3.
Connect the throttle valve completely to the OUT outlet.
4.
Open the throttle valve by a ¼ turn.
5.
Switch the display on the CS to show FLOW.
6.
Using the flow control valve, set the flow rate to ~ 100 ml/min.
7.
Once the flow is stable at operating temperature, change the measurement
interval of the CS to 60 seconds.
