Checking the TCU / Servicing
5.
Remove the spring and the filter element.
The filter element is to be disposed of in an
environmentally correct manner.
6.
Insert the new filter element with the open
end and O-ring upwards into the filter
chamber.
7.
Place the spring onto the filter element.
Fit the filter cover.
8.
Insert the four screws for the filter cover
manually and tighten them to a torque of 7
Nm.
9.
Open the bleed screw slightly.
10. Open the ball valve (5) at the inlet of the
TCU.
11. Activate the automatic shut-off valve (9) until
oil escapes via the bleed screw.
The system has now been bled.
12. Tighten the bleed screw.
13. The filter element change is now complete.
