ADDITIONAL MANUAL CONTROLS
HEAD RETRACT LIMIT OVERRIDE:
This button overrides the head retract limit switch to allow the head to retract further in
order to allow easier blade removal. Depresing this button and either one of the head swing
buttons simultaneously will also allow the head to swing at any point along the travel of the
head.
HEAD SWING LEFT:
Depressing this button fully will cause the head to swing quickly to the left until the button is
released or the head reaches the swing limit. Depressing this button partially will cause the
head to swing slowly to the left allowing for fine adjustment. The head will only swing when it is
fully retracted, or when the HEAD RET. LIMIT OVERRIDE button is depressed.
HEAD SWING RIGHT BUTTON:
Depressing this button fully will cause the head to swing quickly to the right until the button
is released or the head reaches the swing limit. Depressing this button partially will cause the
head to swing slowly to the right allowing for fine adjustment. The head will only swing when it
is fully retracted, or when the HEAD RET. LIMIT OVERRIDE button is depressed.
GUIDE ARM SWITCH:
This switch controls the vertical position of the guide arm. This is very important when
working with the Feed Force and Feed Rate settings as well as effecting the blade life.
BLADE TENSION SWITCH:
The Blade Tension switch is located on the head post and its used when adjusting or
changing the blade which is detailed in Section 3 of this manual.
WORK LAMP - This option switch has two positions, OFF and ON.
