3.9.2 SMS Dialing under the H.323 Protocol
The COIP permits users to dial back through the SMS under the H.323 protocol. After users
send the called number to the COIP through the SMS, the COIP gateway will send a call
request to the H.323 GK automatically. Users who need this function shall choose the
following parameters:
Select SMS Mode > Dial and the following page is displayed.
The COIP supports three types of outgoing call via SMS:
A: Mode 1 (The current version of the H.323 protocol does not support this mode, but
the later version will. )
In this mode, the COIP sets the number of the short message sender as the calling number of
the call and the called number as the short message content;
B: Mode 2
In this mode, the COIP sets the H.323 number of the COIP as the calling number of the call
and the called number as the short message content;
C: Mode 3 (The current version of the H.323 protocol does
not
support this mode, but
the later version will. )
