Recommended dimensions
The fuel’s dimensions are important for good combustion, and should be as follows:

Length in cm
Diameter in cm
Kindling (finely split firewood)

Using the Air Damper
To achieve good combustion, which results in
better heating efficiency, it is important to add
the right amount of air to the fire. The air is
regulated by using the handles located both
below and above the door. The handle below
the door controls the lighting air damper, while
the handle above the door controls the damper
for the pane-flush function; see Figure 2.
Lever’s Position
Effect on Air Flow
Used for
Both levers are pushed all
the way to the right.
All air, i.e. both primary and pane-
flushing air, is opened up.
This setting is always to be used
when lighting a cold stove and firing
new wood.
The lighting lever is set to
the left, while the other
lever is still set to the right.
Primary air is closed while pane-
flushing air is still completely
open. By gradually adjusting the
lever to the left, the amount of air
is lowered, and the temperature is
thereby reduced.
This setting is to be used when the
wood is burning well and the flame is
even and steady. This will allow you
to get the most out of your firewood.
Both levers are set all the
way to the left.
All air to the stove is shut off.
This setting must only be used when
the wood-burning stove is completely
shut off and not in use, such as du-
ring cleaning.

Warning:
Too much heat can destroy your wood-burning stove, the chimney and your fireplace ducts.
Therefore, if you exceed the abovementioned limits, your wood-burning stove, chimney and fireplace duct
will no longer be covered by the factory guarantee.
