Installing HIVE Heat 12 LS to be heated from another
room
• The furnace bushing of the sauna stove must be made through
a non-combustible wall (stone, concrete, etc.) that extends 600
mm to the sides of and 1400 mm above the opening.
• It is advisable to leave a 50 mm air gap between the bushing
and the stove; therefore, add 50 mm to height D and 100 mm to
width C given in table 1 when calculating the dimensions for the
opening.
• The minimum size of the opening for placing the hearth
extension through the wall has been provided in the figure.
• If the floor in front of the furnace is made from combustible
material, fire-resistant floor protection must be installed in front
of the furnace door. The protection must be 600 mm wider than
door width C , with a depth of at least 400 mm.
