Fuel system
Disassemble the throttle control (A), the
lock to prevent accidental throttle opera-
tion (B), the start throttle lock (C) and
the throttle stop (D) in order to check if
replacement is necessary.
The stop switch can also be disassemb-
led now, and replaced if necessary. Use
a screwdriver to press the stop switch’s
wing locks (E).
G = Adjuster screw for start throttle
speed.
Tip!
Reassembly of the throttle easier if a
thin steel wire is wrapped around the
handle and bolt (F) in order to hold the
throttle cable and short-circuit cables in
place.
Start throttle speed
The start throttle speed can be adjusted
using screw (G)
Proceed as follows:
1. Start the engine and let it idle.
2. Press down the start throttle lock
(C).
3. When the start throttle speed is too
low (below 4000 rpm), screw the ad-
juster screw (G) clockwise until the
cutting equipment starts to rotate.
Now screw clockwise a further 1/2
turn.
4. When the start throttle speed is too
high, screw the adjuster screw (G)
anti-clockwise until the cutting equip-
ment stops. Now screw clockwise a
further 1/2 turn.
