2. Make sure that the start/stop and function selection
switch is in the "0" position and the product is
connected to the power supply.
3. Turn the speed control counterclockwise to the
lowest speed.
4. Turn the function selection switch to the "1" or the "2"
position.
Note:
The "1" position starts the drive motor. The
"2" position starts the drive motor and the vibration
motor.
5. Turn the speed control slowly clockwise to the
necessary speed.
To operate the product
WARNING:
If the product stops
of an unknown cause during operation,
immediately set the start/stop and function
selection switch to "0".
1. Make sure that the function selection switch is
set correctly for the operation. Without vibrations:
position "1". With vibrations: position "2".
2. Push the drive levers to move the product.

a) To move the product forward, push the forward
drive lever (A). The product moves forward at the
set speed.
b) To move the product forward at maximum speed,
push the rearward drive lever (B) while you move
forward.
c) To move the product rearward, push only the
rearward drive lever (B).
WARNING:
Rearward
movement of the product is always
at maximum speed.
3. Turn the speed control to adjust the set forward
speed during operation.
4. To position the blade near a wall, adjust the
adjustable handle. Refer to
To adjust the adjustable
handle on page 9 .
