2. Stop switch
• Start the engine and
make sure that the engine
stops when the stop
switch is moved to the
stop position.
3. Hand guard
(325HDA55/325HE3)
• Ensure that the blade
guard is fitted correctly.
• Make sure the hand
guard is not damaged in
anyway.
4. Vibration
damping system
• Check the vibration
damping element
regularly for material
cracks and distortion.
• Check that the vibration
damping element is
securely attached
between the engine unit
and the handlebar unit.

WARNING!
Never use a machine with defective safety
equipment. The safety equipment should
be maintained as described in this
section. If your machine does not meet
any of these controls you should contact
your service workshop.

WARNING!
Always stop the engine before starting
woron any part of the cutting
equipment. This continues to rotate even
after the throttle has been released.
Ensure that the cutting equipment has
stopped completely and remove the cable
from the spark plug before you start to
work on it.

Control, maintenance and service of
the hedge trimmer’s protective
equipment
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• All service and repairs to the machine require
special training.
• This applies especially to the machine‘s safety
equipment. If the machine does not meet any of
he controls listed below you should contact
your service workshop.
• The purchase of one of our products
guarantees that professional repair and
servicing will be carried out on it. If the point of
purchase is not one of our servicing dealers,
please ask for details of the closest service
workshop.
1. Throttle trigger lock
• Check that the throttle is
locked in the “idling
position“ when the
throttle trigger lock is in
its original position.
• Press in the throttle
trigger lock and make
sure it returns to its
original position when
released.
• Ensure that the throttle
and throttle trigger lock
move easily and that their
return spring systems
function.
• See the section ”Start”.
Start the hedge trimmer
and apply full throttle.
Release the throttle and
check that the blades
stop and remain at a
standstill. If the blades
rotate with the throttle in
the idling position then
the carburettor’s idling
setting must be checked.
See chapter ”Mainte-
nance”.

# Orice operatiune de service solicita
instructaj special
# Acesta se refera in mod special la
echipamentele de siguranta. Daca masina
nu indeplineste una dintre carateristici
trebuie sa contactati un service specializat
ATENTIE!
Nu utilizati masina avand parti defecte.
Echipamentele de sigurante trebuiesc
mentinute asa cum este descris in
aceasta sectiune. Daca masina dvs. nu
indeplineste conditiile de mai jos
adresati-va unui service autorizat.
ATENTIE !
Intotdeauna opriti motorul inainte de de montarea
oricarei parti a echipamentului de taiere. Motorul si
aparatul de taiere contiuna sa se roteasca chiar si
dupa ce parghia acceleratie a fost lasata libera.
Asigurativa ca aparatul de taiere s-a oprit, indepartati
fisa bujiei si numai dupa aceea executati operatiunile
de service.
Dispozitivul de blocare al acceleratiei
Butonul de STOP
# Verificati daca parghia
acceleratiei este blocata in
pozitia de relanti atunci cand
dispozitivul de blocare se
afla in pozitia originala.
# Apasati dispozitivul de
blocarea si verificati ca
acesta revine singur in
pozitia originala
# Verificati ca parghia
acceleratiei si dispozitivul de
blocare a acceleratiei se
actioneaza usor, arcurile de
revenire sunt functionale.
# Vezi "START"
Porniti dispozitivul de tuns
gard viu si accelerati la
maximum. Eliberati
acceleratia si verificati daca
cutitele se opresc din
miscare lor. Daca cutitele se
misca atunci cand
acceleratie se afla in pozitia
de relanti carburatorul
trebuie reglat.
Porniti motorul si verificati
daca acesta se opreste
atunci cand utilizati butonul
de STOP
Protectia mainii
Asigurativa de montarea
corecta a protectiei cutitelor
este montata
Verificati daca protectia mainii
nu este deteriorata
4. Sistemul de
amortizare a
vibratiior
#Verificati periodic
elementele active de
amortizare pentru fisuri
sau distorsiuni
# Verificati daca
elementele active de
amortizare sunt bine
fixate intre motor si
manere.
