The machine’s protective equipment
This section describes the hedge trimmer’s protective equip-
ment, its function and how checks and maintenance are
carried out to ensure that it operates correctly. (See the chapter
”What is what” to locate where this equipment is positioned on
your machine.)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Incorrect or careless use of a hedge trimmer can
turn it into a dangerous tool that can cause
serious or even fatal injury. It is extremely
important that you read and understand this
manual.
• When using a hedge trimmer, protective
equipment approved by the appropriate
authorities must be used. Personal protective
equipment does not eliminate the risk of
accidents, however, it can reduce the effects of an
injury in the event of an accident. Ask your dealer
for help when choosing protective equipment.
Personal protective eqipment
GLOVES
Gloves should be worn when
necessary, e.g., when inspect-
ing, cleaning or assembling
cutting equipment.
EAR PROTECTION
Ear protection offering
sufficient dampening effect
should be used.
EYE PROTECTION
Blows from branches or
objects thrown by the
moving blades can damage
the eyes.
BOOTS
Use anti-slip and stable
boots.
CLOTHING
Wear clothes made of a
strong fabric and avoid loose
clothing that can catch on
shrubs and branches. Always
wear heavy-duty long pants.
Do not wear jewellery, shorts,
sandals or go barefoot. Secure
hair so it is above shoulder
level.
FIRST AID KIT
A first aid kit should be close
at hand.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Throttle trigger lock
The throttle trigger lock is
designed to prevent the
throttle from accidentally
being engaged. The trigger
(A) can only be pressed in, if
the lock (B) is held in (= the
operator holding the
handle). When the grip on
the handle is released the
throttle and the throttle
trigger lock return to their
original positions. This
takes place via two indepen-
dent return spring systems.
This means that the throttle
is automatically locked in
the idling position.
2. Stop switch
The stop switch should be
used to stop the engine.
WARNING!
Never use a hedge trimmer with defective
protective equipment. Follow the control,
maintenance and service instructions
described in this section.

Remove your hearing protection as soon as
you stop the engine, so that you can hear
any noises or warning signals.

3. Hand guard
(325HDA55/325HE3)
The hand guard prevents
the operator’s hands from
coming into contact with
the blades. For example, if
the operator should loose
his grip on the front handle.

Echipamentul de protectie al masinii
Aceasta sectiune descrie echipamentul de
protectie al dispozitivului de tuns gard viu,
cum sa-l verificati si sa-l intretineti pentru a
va asigura ca functioneaza corect.
IMPORTANT
# Utilizarea incorecta sau neglijenta a
dispozitivului de tuns gard viu poate cauza
raniri grave sau chiar moartea. Este foarte
important ca dvs. sa intelegeti acest manual.
# Atunci cand operati un dispozitiv de tuns
gard viu trebuie sa purtati echipament de
protectie aprobat de autoritatile in domeniu.
Acest echipament nu elimina riscurile de
accidente dar poate micsoara gravitatea
ranirilor.
ATENTIE!
Nu utilizati un dispozitiv de tuns
gardul viu cu dispozitive de
siguranta defecte.
Dispozitivul de blocare al acceleratiei
Dispozitivul de blocare al
acceleratie este destinat
prevenirii actionarii accidentale
a acceleratiei.
Tragaciul (A) poate fi actionat
numai daca blocajul (B) este
tinut apasat ( in manerul de
prindere) . Atunci cand
moto-unealta este prinsa in
mana acceleratia este
deblocata si se poate actiona.
Daca operatorul nu mai tine
motounealta atunci parghia
acceleratie revine in pozitia de
relanti si nu poate fi acctionata,
fiind blocata.
ATENTIE !
Indepartati antifoanele de indata ce a-ti oprit motorul,
astfel incat sa puteti auzi zgomotesi /sau semnale de
alarma
MANUSI
Manusile trebuiesc purtate
atunci cand este necesar ( la
inspectie, curatarea sau
asamblarea echipamentului)
ANTIFOANE
Antifoane ce realizeaza o
amortizare suficienta a
zgomotului trebuiesc folosite.
VIZORUL DE PROTECTIE
Particule din crengi sau alte
oiecte aruncate de cutitele in
miscare pot produce raniri al
eochilor.
CIZME
Folositi cizme cu talpi
antiderapante si stabile
IMBRACAMINTEA
Purtati haine confectionate din
materiale rezistente. Evitati
imbracaminte larga care se
poate agata in crengi. Purtati
intotdeauna pantaloni lungi. Nu
purtati bijuterii, pantaloni scurti,
sandale, etc. Asigurativa ca
parul dvs. se afla deasupra
umerilor
TRUSA DE PRIM AJUTOR
Trusa de prim ajutor trebuie
tinuta aprope.
Butonul de STOP
Butonul de stop trebuie
utilizat pentru oprirea
motorului
Protectia mainii
Protectia protejeaza
mana operatorului
impotriva contactului cu
cutitele.
