Start/Stop Recording
Start and Stop Recording
(HELIX models only)
The Recording feature records active sonar information.
NOTE:
A microSD or SD card must be installed in the control head to use the Recording features.
Start Recording
APEX/SOLIX Series
HELIX Series
1. Press the HOME key.
2. Select the Record tool.
3. Under Record Sonar, set up the sonar recording:
Select Recording Sources, and select the beams to be
recorded.
Select Save Location, and select an installed SD card.
4. Select Start Recording.
NOTE:
Other sonar sources cannot be recorded at the same time
as MEGA Live.

X-Press Menu:
With a MEGA Live Imaging View displayed
on-screen, press the MENU key once.
2. Select Record MEGA Live. Press the RIGHT Cursor key.
3. Select MEGA Live Recording Start. Press the RIGHT Cursor
key to begin recording.
Stop Recording

1. Press the HOME key.
2. Select the Record tool.
3. Under Record Sonar, select Stop Recording.

2. Select Record MEGA Live. Press the RIGHT Cursor key.
3. Select MEGA Live Recording Stop. Press the RIGHT Cursor
key to stop recording.
Play a Recording

1. Press the HOME key.
2. Select the Record tool.
3. Tap the recording name, or use the Joystick to select it.
4. Select Start.

2. Select Record MEGA Live. Press the RIGHT Cursor key.
3. Select MEGA Live Playback Select. Press the RIGHT Cursor
key to select a recording to play.
4. Select MEGA Live Playback Start to begin playback.
