Storing name/ number in the phonebook
1. Press “ OK/MENU ” to access the settings
menu.
2. Press “↑” or “↓” to select the menu item
“Phonebook”.
3. Press “ OK/MENU ” to confirm your selec-
tion. “Show” will appear in the display.
4. Press “↑” or “↓” to move to the menu item
“New entry”.
5. Press “ OK/MENU ” to enter the name and
number.

6. Use the keypad to enter the telephone
number (max. 20 digits). Press the
button to delete a digit you have just
entered. If the telephone number is longer
than 20 digits, “Number too long” will ap-
pear in the display and the additional
digits will not be stored.
7. After you have entered the telephone
number, press or “ OK/MENU ” to use
the keypad to enter a name. If the next
letter/ character is on the same button
you have just pressed, wait briefly until
the cursor has moved to the next position
before you enter the next letter/ character.
Press the button to delete an incor-
rect letter/ character. Press “ OK/MENU ”
to move the cursor or enter a space.
8. Once you have entered all the necessary
information, press to store the en-
tries.
9. Press the button to return to the
standby mode.
