Function
In case of fire, the »
signolux
smoke detector« transmits a wireless
fire alarm signal to all paired
signolux
-receivers within range.
Registering the smoke detector with the receivers
The »
signolux
smoke detector« has to be registered with every
signolux
-receiver in your system, which is later supposed to react
to it.
Registering the detector with a receiver allows the choice of indi-
cation on the according receiver. To register the detector with the
relevant receiver, press and hold that receiver’s function key. The
receiver’s event symbols light up in sequence. Release the function
key as soon as the required alarm symbol » « or » « is lit up.
The selected symbol lights up for 7 seconds. While the symbol
is lit, press the test button on the module inside the detector.
The exterior test button on the outside of the smoke detector
can also be used, but please note that this will also trigger the
detector’s acoustic alarm.
Wait for approx. 20 seconds and the test the setup by pressing the
