3. Raising and lowering the boom:
The movement of the boom is achieved by a
powerful electric actuator, which is controlled
by a simple hand control. The hand control has
two buttons with directional allows UP and
DOWN. The actuator stops automatically at the
limit of travel in both directions.

4. Emergency Stop:
The Red Emergency Stop Button is located on
the rear of the control box and is activated
by pressing in. This will cut all power to the
lift and only be reset by twisting the button
counterclockwise and releasing.
5. Mechanical Emergency Lowering:
In the case of a complete electrical failure
the electric actuator is fitted with mechanical
lowering device (RED BOSS). This will only
operate when the lift is under load. The device
must be pulled upwards to activate and a slow
decent will commence.

6. Electrical emergency lowering
In case of a hand control failure, the electrical
emergency lowering function on the control
box can be used. On the control box there are
holes. The lifting arm can be lowered or lifted
via pressing e.g. a pen in the hole. This is a
permitted method of lowering/ lifting (you do
not get extended functionality by using these
when the battery is low).
7. Hand control
The hand control has 4 buttons to operate leg
spread and lift arm up and down.
The hand control plugs into a socket at the
base of the control box. There is a hook on the
rear of the hand control, which allows it to be
“parked” on the mast or boom when not in use.
8. Battery LED indicator
There are three light emitting diodes:
- Green; There is no need to charge the battery
- Yellow; Battery needs charging
- Yellow; Battery needs charging (Incl. acoustic
signal when the hand set is activated).
