Putting the Pendel in Freewheel mode:
The Pendel can be put into freewheel mode so the vehicle can be pushed or moved out of
a certain area.
Pendel with a manual parking brake:
- make sure the Pendel is in its right driving height.
- switch off the Pendel
- release the manual; parking brake lever.
Now the Pendel can be pushed by attendants out of the danger area.
Pendel with an automatic parking brake system:
- make sure the Pendel is in its right driving height.
- turn the throttle handle a little bit so that the parking brake is released.
- switch the Pendel off, the parking brake will stay released.
- should the parking brake get back on, turn the throttle handle a little bit again.
- push the Pendel out of its danger zone.
- release the throttle handle and the parking brake will get on again.

If the parking doesn’t get on, switch the Pendel on, now the parking brake will active.
Don’t forget to switch off the Pendel. If the Pendel is still switched on
whilst pushing it. The electronics will try to stop the Pendel from
moving. The harder you push , the hardener the electronics will try to
stop the Pendel.
Don’t forget to put the parking brake back on after the Pendel has
been pushed. If you forget to put the parking brake back on, the on
slopes the Pendel could roll away by itself and create a dangerous
and uncontrolled situation.
Don’t forget to switch off the Pendel. If the Pendel is still switched on
whilst pushing it. The electronics will try to stop the Pendel from
moving. The harder you push , the hardener the electronics will try to
stop the Pendel.
