8.7.5 Contact switch
The contact switch is the main on/off switch of the Pendel FD. It is a key switch to prevent
from unauthorized use of the Pendel.
To switch the Pendel on, first put the key in to the keyhole of the contact switch. Now turn
the key clockwise until the second click. The Pendel will switch on.
8.7.6 Charger socket
The batteries of the Pendel are charged using a battery charger. This charger is to be
connected through this plug to charge the batteries.
Push the plug of the charger into the socket until you hear a click. The plug is now secured
and you can charge the batteries. To disconnect the plug, first push the button of the
socket to release the plug.
More information about charging the batteries can be found in the chapter
“maintenance”.
Never switch the Pendel off whilst driving the Pendel. First slow down
and stop the Pendel, then switch off the Pendel by turning the key
counter clockwise.
Only use the charger provided with the Pendel. Using a different
charger might result in damaged batteries and therefore a strong
reduced autonomy of the Pendel and/or an defect of the batteries.
