VADB feature setup and testing
VADB is an optional backup feature that allows the satellite router to continue
sending and receiving user traffic if the satellite link fails or degrades below an Topics:

The HN9500 includes an internal telephone modem that supports VADB by

Reference Sheet to determine if the customer ordered the VADB option. If so,
you must set up the satellite router for VADB and verify that it works.
VADB automatically switches the HN9500 to the terrestrial dialup telephone
network with minimal interruption and loss of customer traffic. VADB introduces
no additional load on the satellite router and does not affect any existing features.
However, because it uses a temporary dialup connection, the satellite router
sends and receives traffic at a slower rate. When conditions allow, the router
automatically returns to normal operation.
