SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

•  These protector pads are suitable for users of cycles, skateboards, roller

skates and inline skates. These protector pads are not suitable for use on

motor-cycles. They are not suitable for acrobatic or high-speed skating or ska-

ting in a half-pipe.

•   Your protectors must fit correctly, so that they do not move during a fall. Before

you get moving make sure that everything is positioned correctly. The protec-

tors should sit comfortably. It is extremely important to first make sure that the

protectors offer you sufficient space even when closed. Your blood circulation

must never be disturbed! Remember never to skate without your protectors

and a helmet!

•   Before each use, especially after a fall or accident, check the protectors for

damage. The protectors should be discarded and replaced if the shell shows

denting, cracking, deep scratches, deformation, loose parts or discolorations /

the padding underneath the shell is compacted or holed / the straps no longer

fasten, have become overstretched, torn or abraded / the protectors no longer

fit or cover the intended areas!

•   In order not to impair the safety of this product, do not make any modifications

on the product or parts of it!

•   Even under correct use of the protectors, we cannot guarantee complete pro-

tection against injury. The protectors cannot offer absolute protection, always

carry out your sport carefully. To reduce the risk of injury, always be conside-

rate of others and skate sensibly and within your ability.

•   Note that the protective effect of the product  may be impaired on very hard

surfaces.

•   At speeds above 13 km/h the protective effects in case of a fall can no longer

be guaranteed.

•   The product will not protect the wearer in the event of the collisions with mo-

ving vehicles!

•   Changes in environmental conditions, such as extreme temperature fluctua-

tions, may reduce or eliminate the protective effect of your protectors.

•   Contamination, alteration to the protector, or misuse would dangerously redu-

ce the performance of the protector!

•  It is recommended to replace your protective gear after 2 years.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

The size classes are just for orientation. If the protectors do not sit firmly and

comfortably another size should be chosen.

The anatomically formed shells offer a great fit, high wearing comfort and keep

joints in their correct position. The tough shell (PE) and padding (EVA) minimise

shock during a fall and prevent rubbing and nicks. The major materials are PE,

EVA, polyester and spandex.

Wrist guards (fig. 1):

Help to protect your wrist during a fall. The support underneath the hand helps

to cushion the fall. The shape helps to minimise grazes on the fingers and helps

you to glide during a fall.

Elbow pads and knee protectors (fig. 2 & 3):

Help you glide along the asphalt when falling, so that the fall is cushioned.

HOW TO PUT ON YOUR PROTECTORS

If children use the protectors, adult supervision is recommended during fitting.

Always wear the protectors on the correct side. The left side is marked with an

“L“, the right side with an “R”.

Wrist guards (fig. 1):

Open the hook and loop fastening and insert your thumb into the hole, so that the

palm of your hand lies on the cushioned back of the shell. The wrist guard should

be fitted so that the crash plate protects the palm and wrist. Now tighten up the

straps and fasten the hook and loop for a comfortable fit.

Elbow pads and knee protectors (fig. 2 & 3):

Open the hook and loop fasteners and pull on the sock. Fit the elbow pads so that

the point of the elbow is fitted snugly into the centre of the elbow pad. And ensure

that the knee pads are placed symmetrically over the kneecap. Fix the straps and

hook and loop fasteners so that the protectors are secure.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

Use a dry or damp cloth only to clean the product; do not use special cleaning

agents! Check the product for damage or traces of wear and tear before and after

each use. Do not make any structural changes. For your own safety, please use

original spare parts only. These can be sourced from HUDORA. If parts become

damaged or if sharp edges or corners should develop, the product may not be

used any more. If in any doubt, please contact our service team (http://www.

hudora.de/service/). Store the product in a safe place where it is protected from

the elements, cannot be damaged, and cannot injure anyone.

Do not wash! Do not use strong cleaners or detergents! Hand wash only! Do not

iron! Do not tumble dry! Do not bleach!

Always clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Use of chemical and cleaning

solvents, paints and abrasive can cause unseen damage to the pads and reduce

their ability of protection. Use clear water only. If your protectors are very dirty try

to clean them gently with luke warm water and a brush. Rinse the protectors with

clear water. Do not dry the protectors on a heating. After use you should try to air

your protectors in a room with good air circulation. Never leave your protectors

exposed to direct sunlight or heat. Elevated temperature beyond 40° C would

dangerously reduce the performance of the protectors.

DISPOSAL ADVICE

At the end of the product’s life, please dispose of it at an appropriate collection

point provided in your area. Local waste management companies will be able to

answer your questions on this.
