4) Connect the guardrails on the tower platform with the connecting backplanes
using bolts M12×45. If the connect is not secure, solder the connecting
backplanes to the guardrails. Soldering shall be secure. There shall be no false
soldering or open solder point. All the welded points and the support shall be
covered with antirusting paint.
2.5 Installing Antenna Support on Roof
Note:
The installation of antenna support is usually done by the customer following the requirements designed
by the vendor. If a support meeting the requirements has already been installed on the site, this section
can be skipped.
The requirements and the installation methods of the support differ according to the
different antenna types and installation environment. “2.4 Installing Antenna Support
on Tower” and “2.5 Installing Antenna Support on Roof” only describe the common
installation case. As for other cases, please refer to the engineering documents and
the support instructions.
2.5.1 Structure of the Antenna Support
There are several antenna support structures on the roof, take the following one
shown in Figure 2-8 for example.
