Check that power cables and service cables are laid out neatly and orderly, and consistent
with other cables in the equipment room.

Check that the cable labels.

Check that the free slots are covered by filler panels.

Check that the power cables are firmly inserted into the power socket.

Check that the cables of the device are firmly connected.

Check that the grounding cables of the disk subrack are connected to the grounding clips
of the disk subrack and the grounding connectors of the cabinet, and the screws of the clips
are fastened.
l
Check that the power cables are connected to the power supply of the disk subrack in
redundancy mode (two groups of cables).
l
Check that the service network cables are normally connected to the service network port
and the host port or the switch.
l
Check that the serial port is not connected to the network switch.

Indicators
This section describes the different status of the S5000 controller subrack indicators and the
current running status of the S5000 controller subrack.
Reference Standard
The S5000 controller subrack indicators are divided into the indicators on the front panel and
the indicators on the rear panel. You can primarily check the current working status of the S5000
controller subrack by observing the indicators.
