2. Wireless connection
NOTE
: Your computer must have a Wireless Network Card or adapter
in order to connect wirelessly.
The modem has a built in wireless router and allows you to
•
connect wirelessly to the Modem, and through it, to the internet.
Your modem’s WiFi is switched off by default. To switch it on
•
simply press the ‘WiFi/WPS On/Off’ Button and then follow the
steps below to set-up your computer.
The wireless connection is secured by a pre-configured,
•
randomly generated, 13-digit, 128-bit, WEP (Wireless Equivalent
Privacy) passkey.
To be able to connect wirelessly, you’ll need to follow the steps
below:
Power off your modem. (Press and hold the power button).
