5.3 Upgrade Exceptions
Why does the speed dome fail to upgrade

There are network exceptions when doing remote upgrade.
l
The upgrade program is mismatched with the speed dome. Please employ an appropriate
program for the upgrade.
5.4 Other Questions
The preview image of the speed dome is not clear
l
Please check whether the protective film of the bubble has been removed.
l
Please check whether there are foreign objects on the bubble or the lens.
l
Please check where there are obstructions such as spider web nearby.
l
Open the bubble and check whether the lens cover has been removed.
There is no sound after the speed dome being connected with the Pick-up
l
Please check the configured encoding format of the speed dome. Please choose "Integrated
Flow" as the encoding format.
l
Please check whether the electrical specification of the Pick-up is matched with the speed
dome.
The function of preview is not available for the speed dome under a normal
network environment
l
For LAN, please check whether the IE plug-in has been installed correctly. Some of the
blocking software might prevent to download the IE control, please change the intercept
range of the software.
l
The UPnP needs to be enabled when accessing by crossing routers. You can also manually
map the 80, 8000, and 554 port on the router.
l
Please check whether the device has met the upper-limitation of the preview channel
number.
l
Please check the adequacy of the network bandwidth.
The speed dome cannot focus when working in the outdoor condition
l
Please restore the device to the default to exclude the factor of incorrect configuration.
l
Reduce the minimum focusing distance of the device by configuring the image settings
through the web client.
ONVIF protocol explanation
The frame rate value that specified by the ONVIF protocol can be considered as a value range.
You can only set discrete value for the frame rate of the speed dome. The system will not return
