B.1 Waterproof Instruction

When the speed dome is installed to L-shape pole mount, let the mount and the pole has
an elevation angle.
l
You cannot use the short-arm wall mount or pendant mount for outdoor application, because
it is not water-proof.
l
It is recommended to use the mount with inner threaded interface and good waterproof
performance.
l
If you use a mount with outer threaded interface, please adopt waterproof measures to the
adapter applied between the mount and the dome.
l
For indoor dome models, do not install indoor speed dome to the outdoor environment.
B.2 L-shape Pole Mount
Make sure that the L-shape pole mount is designed with a certain inclination angle as shown in
following figure. Water won't flow from the pole into the speed dome with the inclination angle.
