Configuring the basic parameters of LAN
II. Description of LAN parameters
z
IP Address
: The LAN address of D-20, by default, it is 192.168.1.1.
z
Subnet Mask
: To divide the subnet with its IP address, by default, it is
255.255.255.0.
z
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (
DHCP
) Server: To realize the automatic IP
address distribution. If
Enable
is selected, the DHCP Server auto distributes IP
address. By default, it is

.

Start IP Address
and
End IP Address
: To delimit the random range for the
automatic distribution of IP address. For example, in the subnet of 192.168.1.0/24,
when the default address for D-20 is 192.168.1.1, the maximum range for the host
IP is 192.168.1.2 – 192.168.1.254; the minimum is the single IP address.

DHCP Lease Time
: The valid period for the IP address of the hosts in LAN. By
default, it is 86400s.
