Connect the charger to USB cable.

Connect the charger to a power outlet.

Connect the USB cable to the phone to start charging.
If your phone is powered on, the battery icon on the not ificat ion
bar displays the charging status. The icon indicates the battery is
fully charged.
Important Information about the Battery

If the battery has not been used for a long t ime, you may not be
able to power on your mobile phone immediately after you
begin charging the battery. Allow the battery to charge for a few
minutes with the phone powered off before attempt ing to
power the phone on.

Using data services increases the power consumpt ion of the
phone and will therefore reduce the length of t ime that the
phone can be used between battery charges.
z
The t ime required to fully charge the battery depends on the
ambient temperature and the age of the battery.
z
When the battery power is low, the phone will alert you and
display a message. When the battery power is almost exhausted,
your phone will power off automat ically.
Power Saving Tips

Reduce the t ime it takes for your screen backlight to turn off
when your phone is idle.
z
Lower the screen brightness and volume.
