3.3.2.2 Mode 2: Tower Mounting
Context
●
This section describes the installation method using a battery pack and a 6
kVA UPS as an example.
●
The support base length is adjustable. You can add components in between to
increase the length as required. One additional component (1 U) is required
for a single 3 U device.
●
Remove a support base with appropriate force in the reverse direction of
installation.
●
The minimum distance between the two support bases is 280 mm. The
support bases cannot exceed the edges of the UPS. The recommended
distance from support bases to the edges of the UPS is about 100 mm.
Procedure
Step 1 When battery packs are connected in series or parallel, ensure that the models on
the nameplates of the battery packs are the same.
Step 2 Assemble the support bases: Align the connecting buckle with the slot and insert
the buckle vertically.
CA UTION
Wear protective gloves when removing and installing the support base
components to prevent injury.
