If an optical module with independent transmit and receive channels is used, each optical
interface requires one Tx fiber and one Rx fiber of the same type. If a single-fiber
bidirectional optical module is used, each interface requires only one optical fiber.
2.
Single-mode optical modules must be used with single-mode optical fibers, and multimode
optical modules must be used with multimode optical fibers. By default, no optical fiber is
delivered with the product.
