8. The instrument carries out the following measurements in
a sequence:
Insulation between positive pole (+) of the string and
earth connection
Insulation between negative pole (-) of the string and
earth connection
Calculation of the value of resistance
Rp
given by the
parallel of measurements (+) and (-)
If “

”, the instrument shows the message “
OK
”, to
indicate the
positive
result of measurement.
Press the
SAVE
key to store the test result in the
instrument’s memory (see § 7.1) or the
ESC/MENU
key
to exit the screen without saving and go back to the main
measuring screen.
