Align the new optical disc drive with the opening in the side of the computer. Push the drive in firmly

until it snaps into place.

NOTE:

The optical disc drive can be installed in only one way.

System board (EMI) shield

The system board shield covers the system board. A latch holds the shield in place. Four screws secure the
shield.

To remove the system board shield:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Lift the electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield off the system board.
