Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparation for disassembly on page 16
2.
Remove the stand assembly (see
).
3.
Remove the rear cover (see
).
4.
Remove the Phillips #2 M3.0×4.0 screw (1) that secures the hard drive cage to the computer.
5.
Disconnect the hard drive cable (2) from the hard drive.
6.
Slide the hard drive cage down (3), and then remove the hard drive cage.
7.
Remove the four Phillips #2 #6-32UNC screws (1) that secure the hard drive to the hard drive cage.
8.
Remove the hard drive (2) from the hard drive cage.
Reverse this procedure to install the hard drive and hard drive cage.
