Stand assembly
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparation for disassembly on page 16
2.
Position the computer with the rear cover toward you.
CAUTION:
Before positioning the computer with the display assembly facing down, make sure
the work surface is clear of tools, screws, and any other foreign objects. Failure to follow this caution
can result in damage to the display assembly.
3.
Rotate the top edge of the computer away from you until the display panel lies face down on
the work surface.
4.
Rotate the stand assembly (1) up and forward to provide access to the stand assembly screws.
5.
Use a 2.5-mm hex driver to remove the four M4.0×6.5 screws (2) that secure the stand assembly to
the computer.
6.
Remove the stand assembly (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the stand assembly.
