Remove the full-length expansion board

Power down the server (on page

Remove all power:
a.
Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.

Unlock the front bezel (on page

4.
Place the server on its side.
5.
Remove the access panel (on page

6.
If installed, remove the PCI air baffle (on page
27
).
7.
Open the PCI slot cover retaining bracket.
8.
Open the full-length expansion board retaining bracket and remove the expansion board.
IMPORTANT:
If removing an expansion board from PCI slot 2, release the retainer latch on the
system board, and then remove the expansion board from the system.
