Monitoring Console
The Monitoring Console allows IT experts to monitor the state of one or more servers, including the
following:
•
Results of numerous automated tests
•
Log records for hardware, software, and services

Gateway Control Console
The Gateway Control Console provides access to the configuration settings, event logs, and reports
relating to a server firewall and other internet security functions.
Be sure that only IT experts change the firewall and security settings of the console. Incorrect
configuration can lead to a security breach or a temporary failure of the system. Such configuration issues
require remedial action by HPE ProLiant Easy Connect Support to restore normal services.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise monitors and maintains the servers. As a result, many of the Gateway Control
Console settings need never be changed by the end user or IT administrators.
