After a video clip is recorded, the
Display
shows the last frame
of the clip for several seconds.
NOTE
To conserve battery power, the
Display
backlight
automatically turns off
after 60 seconds if you do not
press a button. For more information, refer to
Appendix A: Accessories and Battery Management.
Recording video clips
You can record a video clip for up to 30 seconds by using
internal memory. To record a video clip:

Frame the subject that you want to record.

Press and release the
Video
button to start recording. You
will see
REC
on the
Display
.

To stop recording at any time, press the
Video
button again.
You can increase your video recording time by using a
CF memory card. For example, an 8 MB memory card can
record approximately 70 seconds of video, and a 16 MB
memory card can record approximately140 seconds. Video
files can be very large and use a lot of space on the memory
card.
NOTE
Your camera supports a memory card up to 128 MB.
