Removal and replacement procedures
Removing the switch module
CAUTION:
Be sure to save the running-configuration of the switch before removing any switch
components.
CAUTION:
To avoid connectivity loss, do not remove switches already in operation.
CAUTION:
For proper cooling, be sure every switch module bay and uplink module bay has either
a blank or a module installed.
To remove the switch module:

Extend the chassis from the rack (on page
