EISA Card Installation

Hardware Installation

NOTE:

Note that, due to clearance problems with standard HP-IB cable connectors,
EISA HP-IB cards cannot be installed adjacent to each other. If you find it
necessary to install an EISA HP-IB card directly over another one, you will
have to use low-profile connectors furnished by other manufacturers.

8 Secure the EISA with the screw from the blank plate.

9 Replace the system’s top cover.

10 If the system is to be rack mounted, mount it in the rack now.

11 Plug in the power cord, and then turn on the power for the chassis and boot 

the operating system.

12 Verify the installation by running the Support Tools Manager.
