CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all bays are
populated with either a component or a blank.
Procedure

Disconnect the power cord from the power source and the server.
4.
Place the server on its side with the access panel facing up.
7.
Disconnect all cables connected to any installed drives.
8.
Remove the drive cage.
9.
Remove the drive from the drive cage.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
