Installing the switching fabric module

(1) Insert the card into the slot until the brakes touch the slot edges tightly
(2) Press the ejector levers inward
(3) Fasten the captive screws on the switching fabric module

Installing a power supply

CAUTION:

•

Provide a circuit breaker for each power supply and make sure the circuit breaker is off before
installation.

•

When moving a power supply, hold the two sides of the power supply with both hands to avoid
damaging the power supply.

The HP FlexFabric 12900 switch uses N + N (dual-line power supply) or N + 1 (one-line power supply)

power redundancy. You can install appropriate number of power supplies according to the power supply

mode and system consumption.
Strictly follow the order shown in

Figure 22

to avoid security hazards.
