Appendix F Cabling recommendations 

When you mount a 12910 AC switch in a 19-inch standard rack, route network cables through the cable 

management bracket at the upper part of the front panel. Plan cable routing by using the cable routing 

lines according to your installation environment and bundle the network cables at the tie-wrap tabs, as 
shown in 

Figure 74

. Bundle the power cables to the power cable bracket at the lower part of the rear 

panel, and route the power cables depending on the equipment room conditions (location of the power 

distribution cabinet, lightning protection box, and connector strip, for example) of the exchange office. 
When you connect two cables together, place the connector at the bottom of the rack.
