SAN Virtualisation Services Platform
the HP StorageWorks SaN Virtualisation Services Platform (SVSP) allows customers to centrally manage storage
pools and easily provision virtual volumes of HP and non-HP storage resources in diverse server environments.
The benefits of SAN Virtualisation are:
• Consolidation of heterogeneous storage platforms to reclaim unused or stranded capacity.
• thin provisioning to improve asset utilisation and decrease costs.
• Consistent set of services to provision, grow and migrate volumes, improve application recovery through low-capacity snapshots,
and increase application availability with centralised local and remote mirroring.
Q. How do I obtain a configuration and price quotation for these products?
A.
the products on this page are Configure-to-order (Cto). Please contact your HP or HP Business Partner account manager for a full
configuration with pricing quotation.
HP SVSP solutions are made up of four components; data
path modules, management servers (2), licensing and
services. Functionality is extensive and includes volume
management, data migration, copy services (clones and
snapshots), thin provisioning and local synchronous or
remote asynchronous mirroring all supported on HP and
non-HP storage.
