Lto Ultrium is HP’s premier line of tape backup devices. each drive includes backup software (HP Data Protector
express Single Server edition with Bare Metal Disaster recovery option), built-in hardware compression and a 3 year
warranty. In the full-height range, choose from two Lto generations (Lto3 or Lto4); internal or external form factor;
and SaS or SCSI connectivity.
HP Lto Ultrium tape drives employ dynamic data rate matching to adjust to the speed of the host, reducing wear and tear on both drive and
media and increasing performance, even on slower hosts. HP’s ultra-durable soft-load feature automatically positions the data cartridge and
combined with the highly reliable HP leader-capture mechanism ensures trouble free tape handling.
