Procedure

This test must be performed between 20°Cand 30°Cto be

valid.

1.

Connect the equipment as shown in Figure 4-1. Do

not connect anything to the

bridge test port.

2.

On the HP 8757A, press [PRESET] to configure the system. The HP 8757A
PRESET will also (I) set the sweep time and turn on the modulation of the sweep
oscillator and (2) turn on the RF output and set the power level of the RF plug-in.
Do not reset the power level. Press the analyzer’s softkey [CHAN 2 OFF] to turn
off channel 2.
