Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the battery (see

Remove the service door (see

Remove the keyboard (see
Keyboard on page 73
).
Remove the power switch board:
1.
Release the ZIF connector
(1)
and disconnect the ribbon cable
(2)
from the system board.
2.
Remove the Phillips M2.5×3.0 broadhead screw
(1)
that secures the board to the base pan, raise
the end of the board
(2)
, and then slide the board out of the retainer
(3)
.
Reverse this procedure to install the power switch board.
