4. Lift the battery out of its holder.
Removing the Coin Cell Battery
5. Slide the replacement battery into position with the “plus”
side up.
6. The battery holder automatically secures the battery in the
proper position.
7. Replace the computer cover.
8. Plug in the computer and turn on power.
9. If you normally lock the Smart Cover Lock, use Computer
Setup to relock it.
10. Reset the date and time, your passwords, and any special
system setups, using Compaq Computer Setup. Refer to the
Software Reference Guide.
