Connecting to an
Ethernet Network
An RJ-45 (8-pin) Ethernet connector is built into the computer
on the rear panel. To connect to an Ethernet network:
1. Using the network cable appropriate for your network,
connect one end of the network cable to the Ethernet

on your computer.
2. Ensure that both connections are secure.
The following illustration shows the Ethernet RJ-45 activity

. The yellow light blinks when linking to the network;
the green light blinks during network activity.
