Interpreting Port Status LEDs
The following table provides LED port information for the HP J3301A and the
HP J3303A.

HP J3302A.

O
n indicates Link Beat is detected from the attached node and
the port is enabled on the HP J3301A and HP J3303A.
Off
indicates the port is not receiving the link beat signal from
the attached node.
Slow Flash
* indicates the port has been partitioned due to
excessive collisions. This port will reenable when the
connected device or cable is repaired.
XCVR

On
indicates is enabled a transceiver module is installed.
Off
indicates the Xcvr port is disabled.
Slow Flash indicates the port has been auto-partitioned.
* The slow flash is approximately once every 1.5 seconds (.75 seconds on and.75 seconds off).
